Google, continuing its efforts to increase its market share in the smartphone industry, will unveil the Pixel 8 series at the Made by Google event on October 4th. Many reports and leaks have surfaced regarding these smartphones, providing some insights into what kind of performance they will offer. Most recently, detailed design information about the high-end Pro model in the series has been revealed.
The design of the Google Pixel 8 Pro revealed
Google recently added official 3D visuals of the Pixel 8 Pro to the newly launched Pixel Simulator website. This reveals the detailed design of the smartphone and confirms some of the reports that have emerged so far.
Looking at the Pixel Simulator page, we can say that the smartphone will be available in blue, gray, and black color options. As seen in previously leaked images, the Pixel 8 Pro will come with a flat display with a hole in the middle and an enhanced camera island on the back panel, housing a triple camera unit, LED flash, microphone, and a body temperature sensor.
As for the expected technical specifications of the Google Pixel 8 Pro, it is likely to feature a 6.7-inch OLED LTPO panel with a Quad HD+ resolution of 1344 x 2992 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will come with Android 14 and will have a 4,950 mAh battery with 27W wired and 23W wireless charging support. It will feature the Tensor G3 chip and offer 12 GB of RAM and storage options up to 512 GB. Prices are said to be set at 1235 Euros for the 128 GB model, 1304 Euros for the 256 GB model, and 1461 Euros for the 512 GB model.
