Sony briefly halted sales of the Xperia 1 VII due to hardware issues, but it will be available again in Europe on August 25th. The company confirmed that a manufacturing defect in the circuit board caused random shutdowns, reboots, and failures to power on, particularly in devices sold through official channels. Fortunately, the issues appear to have been largely resolved.
