Mercedes-Benz continues to expand its all-electric car family. Following the electric GLC EQ Technology, the company has shared the first official photo of the electric C-Class. The image highlights the vehicle’s star-shaped headlights and the large, illuminated grille, also found on the GLC EQ Technology.
The electric Mercedes C-Class is coming
The electric C-Class is built on an 800V architecture. It is reported that the vehicle will support fast charging at up to 330 kW and offer a range of approximately 800 km with its 94 kWh battery. Performance and power figures for the model have not yet been released, but its official launch is scheduled for 2026.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC EQ Technology, featuring distinctive front and rear design, comes with a 94 kWh battery pack. The most powerful version generates 483 horsepower with dual motors and can offer a range of 700 km. Thanks to the 800V infrastructure, the vehicle gains a range of 303 km with a 330 kW charge in just 10 minutes. The Airmatic air suspension system, derived from the S-Class, is also available as an option.
The interior features a massive 39.1-inch single-piece screen. This screen also incorporates the side air vents. Despite this large screen, the company hasn’t completely eliminated physical buttons.
The vehicle’s front grille features a striking design, illuminating 942 square frames with over 100 LEDs. Mercedes design chief Gordon Wagener states that this new grille isn’t just a cosmetic change; it redefines the brand’s character.
The SUV offers 570 liters of luggage space in the rear and 128 liters under the hood. The GLC EQ Technology, with its rear axle, is expected to go on sale in many markets in 2026, but official pricing has not yet been announced.
