Last month, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 15 series and the highly anticipated HyperOS 2 update at an event in China. Although the company has not yet officially announced which models will receive the update, recent reports have largely clarified the situation. Here’s a look at the first Xiaomi models to get HyperOS 2 globally!
First Xiaomi Models to Receive the HyperOS 2 Update Globally
Xiaomi has not yet officially announced its global distribution plan for HyperOS 2. However, according to recent information shared by XiaomiTime, a source known for its proximity to the company, the first models to receive the update will be the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 13T Pro. These devices are expected to be upgraded to HyperOS 2 before the end of 2024.
Additionally, the company is expected to enter an intense distribution phase. Xiaomi will rapidly update compatible models to the new version in the first quarter of 2025. Here’s a list of models expected to receive the update in early next year:

- Redmi Note 13 4G
- Redmi Note 13 NFC

Note: The above models will only receive the update in the first half of 2025. If your device is included in the update range, you will eventually receive HyperOS 2.
