Google’s next-generation foldable phone, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, has surfaced in a leaked video just days before its launch. Previously only images of the device were shared, this time, numerous details, from the hinge structure to the camera bump, have been seen in person. The leak offers significant clues about the device’s design.

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Will Surprise

According to the images in the video, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has a thinner hinge structure than the previous generation. The folding mechanism has fewer gaps, creating a more compact appearance when the device is closed. As a result of this structural improvement, the cover display size has increased from 6.3 inches to 6.4 inches. Screen brightness is said to reach 3000 nits.

Another notable feature of the model is the expectation that it will be the first foldable phone to be IP68 certified. This certification indicates that the device will be dust and water resistant. This level of durability has not been offered by foldable phones before, and this could make a significant difference.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold also boasts impressive hardware features. Powered by Google’s next-generation Tensor G5 processor, developed using a 3nm process, the device features 16GB of RAM. The camera setup includes a 48MP main sensor, a 10.5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto camera. The front camera features dual 10MP sensors.

The device’s release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but current information suggests sales could extend into October. Google will unveil the Pixel 10 series and other new products at an event on August 20th. All eyes are now on this launch.
