Samsung has completely revamped the Galaxy Store, its online app store for mobile devices. The new Galaxy Store update has been released, featuring design changes and a simplified layout that makes the store more user-friendly. The new version of the store, version 6.6.17.1, includes significant changes to the user interface layout and now features a cleaner, more streamlined look.
Galaxy Store Completely Refreshed
The navigation bar at the bottom of the Galaxy Store has undergone a significant transformation. The “Menu” tab, previously containing four items, has been removed and repositioned as a sidebar on the left. Samsung has also added a new menu to the header.
As part of the design changes, this menu allows for expanded menu items. While the “Apps” and “Games” tabs remain, the “Featured” tab has been renamed “My Galaxy.”

The revamped Menu tab includes a new “Downloading” section, which displays the progress of apps users are downloading or updating. Additionally, the ability to divide apps into sections has been replaced with a progressive page that doesn’t take up the entire screen. Overall fonts also appear slightly larger than in the previous version.
There’s also a slight change to the background color; the new version looks more vibrant in open mode. With this latest change, Samsung has made the Galaxy Store look cleaner and more organized, while also improving user-friendliness.
To access the new user interface, users should open the Galaxy Store app, go to Menu > Updates, and update the store by tapping the “Update All” button in the top-right corner or using the update icon next to the Galaxy Store entry.
