Sony Bend’s Days Gone, which debuted in 2019, may be remastered for PlayStation 5. Recent leaks from the industry revealed that the game released for PlayStation 4 will return as Days Gone Remaster.
Days Gone Remaster surprise for PS5 Pro
Sony is expected to organize the last State of Play event of the year in the coming days. In this event, it is thought that PS5 Pro exclusive productions will come to the fore. The open-world zombie game, which made a big impact when it was released on PS4, is back on the agenda with PS5 Pro.
Sources had previously revealed that a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster was in development. However, it has been suggested that this project is not Horizon Zero Dawn, but Days Gone. Accordingly, it will be presented with a Director’s Cut-style update for PS5, similar to Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Zero Dawn.
Sony Bend has previously announced that they are not developing a new Days Gone game. The remaster announcement could provide clues about the studio’s current projects. Of course, considering that the game is playable on PS4, it is a question mark how much the remaster version will attract players.
New images and gameplay videos of PS5/PS5 Pro games are expected to be shown at the event this month. Possible games could include a new DLC for Astro Bot and the long-awaited Metal Gear Solid remastered.
PlayStation 5 Pro supported titles include Alan Wake 2, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Gran Turismo 7 and a few more.
