Huawei has officially announced the launch date for its much-anticipated Mate 70 series. The smartphones, which have had their price tags leaked previously, will be unveiled on November 26. Initially, the devices will be released in China, with a global launch expected at a later date.
When will the Huawei Mate 70 series be introduced?
The series is expected to include the Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+, and Mate 70 RS Ultimate models, though there are no confirmed technical specifications or design details from the company yet.
According to a recent report by Fixed Focus Digital, the Mate 70 series may see a slight price increase compared to its predecessor. Although not confirmed, the standard model is expected to retail for between $760 and $800.
Render images of the Huawei Mate 70 have been shared on Weibo, suggesting significant design changes. The new model is said to feature a camera arrangement similar to the Mate 50 introduced in 2022. On the front, it will likely have a high screen-to-body ratio and a three-hole cutout panel, in line with industry standards.
Another key change is the display design. Instead of the curved edges seen on previous models, the Mate 70 will likely feature a flat panel. Sources indicate that the screen will measure 6.69 inches. Lastly, the series is expected to be powered by the Kirin 9100 chipset.
