Fallout: Nuevo Mexico mod revealed
Bethesda’s beloved Fallout: New Vegas, more than a decade after its release, continues to survive with ambitious mods. One of the most anticipated mods, Fallout: Nuevo Mexico made a big impact with its latest trailer.
Taking players five years after the events of Fallout: New Vegas, set in a post-apocalyptic Mexico City five years after the events of Fallout: New Vegas. After going silent earlier this year, the Nuevo Mexico team is back with a new trailer showcasing their vision for Mexico.
The nearly three-minute trailer showed how iconic places like Chapultepec and Xochimilco were transformed by nuclear war. Although the development phase is still ongoing, it is possible to see Nuevo Mexico’s claim in the trailer.
According to the developers, Mexico City will be one of the largest cities ever built in the Fallout series and will feature many unexplored areas. Various factions will fight for control of the metropolis and immerse players in post-war Mexican culture.
Of course, players will need to be patient at this stage. The mod is still a long way from release. The trailer emphasized that what is shown is in development.
