A striking leak has surfaced about Apple’s next-generation iPad Pro. An unboxing video shared by a Russian-based YouTuber suggests the company may soon unveil a new iPad Pro with an M5 chip. Furthermore, this creator established his credibility last year by unveiling the 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M4 chip.
iPad Pro Arrives with an M5 RAM Upgrade
The video shows a new 13-inch iPad Pro with an M5 chip, 256GB of storage, and a Space Black finish. The device’s design is notable for its similarities to current models, including a rear camera, quad speakers, and a Smart Connector. However, the device’s slimmer build and the removal of the iPad Pro branding on the back cover are noteworthy. While previous leaks suggested a second front-facing camera, the video doesn’t include any such details.

The YouTuber also subjected the tablet to some benchmarks. Geekbench 6 results indicate a 12 percent increase in multi-core CPU performance and a 36 percent increase in GPU performance compared to the previous generation. The 256GB model also appears to come with 12GB of RAM. Current models only offered this storage option with 8GB of RAM.
According to the details in the video, the tablet runs iPadOS 26, and the battery has a production date of August 2025. While this suggests the device is a fake, the claims are quite strong due to past leaks that have proven accurate.
Apple is expected to officially announce the iPad Pro with the M5 chip in October 2025. It’s also rumored that the company is working on MacBook Pro models with the M5 chip, and that these devices could be introduced later in the year.
