Although there have been some doubts about the processors in Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series, things are starting to become clearer. This is because the latest performance test results of the series’ most powerful model, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, have largely confirmed which chipset the smartphones will be powered by.

As is known, Samsung uses both Exynos and Qualcomm processors in its flagship devices. Therefore, the hardware powering the smartphones varies by region. Many rumors and leaks have suggested that due to production issues with its own Exynos 2500, Samsung would only use Qualcomm processors in the new series.
However, the fact that the Galaxy S25+ recently appeared in Geekbench tests with the Exynos 2500 has caused some confusion. This development could suggest that the company hasn’t entirely abandoned its own chip. Therefore, it seems likely that the Galaxy S25 series will feature both Exynos 2500 and Snapdragon 8 Elite processors, although Qualcomm chips will probably dominate.
