However, the descending roofline towards the rear, redesigned glass surfaces, and raised roof rails give the car a sportier appearance. The LED taillights, which extend from end to end at the rear, are available with optional OLED graphics. Fake air intakes and a large diffuser are also notable.

The interior is similar to the standard Q3. The 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and 12.8-inch infotainment screen share the same curved surface. However, the lowered roof results in a loss of rear seats and trunk space. With the rear seats folded down, the Q3 Sportback offers 1,298 liters of trunk space, 97 liters less than the standard Q3.
The Q3 Sportback is available with gasoline, diesel, mild hybrid, and plug-in hybrid engine options. The entry-level 1.5-liter TFSI engine produces 150 horsepower, while the most powerful 2.0 TFSI version reaches 265 horsepower.
Power is delivered via front-wheel drive or quattro all-wheel drive. The plug-in hybrid version has a combined output of 272 horsepower. This version, with its 25.7 kWh battery, offers an all-electric range of up to 118 kilometers according to WLTP standards.
Audi has begun accepting orders for the Q3 Sportback in Europe. Deliveries of the standard Q3 begin in October, and the Q3 Sportback in November. The starting price for the standard Q3 in Germany is €44,600. The starting price for the Q3 Sportback is €46,450. Prices for plug-in hybrid versions start from 49,300 euros for the standard Q3 and 51,150 euros for the Q3 Sportback.
