Citroen Turkey has launched the new C5 Aircross model on the Turkish market. Like other models from Stellantis, the new C5 Aircross is available with both hybrid and fully electric powertrain options, and its price tag is a special one. The vehicle’s introductory price starts at 2,200,000 TL.

The new C5 Aircross features the brand’s most up-to-date design language, a look previously featured on models such as the new C3 and the updated C4 and C4 X. The sharp lines of the body design are striking, and it is reported to offer high aerodynamic efficiency.
The wheels, with their dual-tone design, grow up to 20 inches. The model rides on the STLA Medium platform, resulting in updated dimensions and technical features. The new C5 Aircross has grown by 15 cm compared to its previous model, reaching a length of 4,652 mm, and its wheelbase has increased by 6 cm to 2,784 mm.
The increased dimensions of the vehicle, which offers 200 mm of ground clearance, have increased head and legroom, especially for rear passengers. The new model, with a trunk capacity of 651 liters, also offers 75 liters of additional storage space in the trunk floor and 40 liters in the cabin.
The interior features a simple and modern design. The driver is accompanied by a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless charging unit, and a large head-up display. The gear selector features a stylish design, while armrests, door pockets, and cupholders provide ample storage space.
Citroën stated that it aimed to create a “cocoon” feel by using foam-filled fabrics throughout the interior. The brand’s signature “Advanced Comfort” seats offer thicker padding and enhanced body support. The front seats feature electrical adjustment, heating, cooling, and massage functions, while the rear seats have heated and reclining backrests.
A mild hybrid version, called the Hybrid 145, is available for customers who don’t yet want to switch to all-electric options. This version uses a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 136 horsepower. It is paired with a 9 kW electric motor and a 0.9 kWh battery, integrated into a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The all-electric version features a 157 kW (210 hp) motor and a 73 kWh NMC battery. This version offers a driving range of up to 502 kilometers (312 miles) according to WLTP standards. Thanks to DC fast charging support up to 160 kW, the battery can charge from 20% to 80% in half an hour.
The new C5 Aircross is available in two trim levels: Plus and Max. The entry-level Plus trim comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, an 8-way manual driver’s seat, 8-color ambient lighting, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13-inch vertical infotainment screen, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry and start, parking sensors, and a 180-degree rearview camera.
The electric version adds an 11 kW onboard charger and heat pump. The Max trim offers premium features such as Matrix LED headlights, a heated steering wheel, an expanded head-up display, and a 360-degree surround view system. Some features, including an 8-way electric heated driver’s seat with massage and memory functions, and a panoramic glass roof, are also available as options.
