The trophy is plated with 24-carat gold. It is also engraved with the world map, the names of the 211 member nations, and the names of FIFA’s six confederations. And that’s not all—the new trophy consists of four separate pieces, which can move.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino made a statement regarding the trophy, saying:
“The innovative, inclusive, groundbreaking, and truly global new 32-team Club World Cup deserves a trophy that embodies all these qualities. This prestigious and timeless piece pays tribute to the rich history of our sport while being a shining symbol of our future.”
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will take place from June 15 to July 13, 2025, across 11 cities in the United States. The final match will be held at the iconic MetLife Stadium in New York.
