HTC unveiled five new smartphones in its Wildfire series at the GITEX 2025 trade show in Dubai. Among these models, the brand’s gaming phone was the most eye-catching. While the new HTC Wildfire stands out with its powerful battery, its processor selection raised some questions.
Features of the New HTC Wildfire
The device comes with a black chassis with red accents and a distinct “gamer aesthetic.” On the technical side, it features a 16MP selfie camera and a 50MP main camera. However, the phone’s biggest strength appears to be its massive 5,600mAh battery.

Perhaps the phone’s weakest link is its processor. HTC is using the Unisoc T765 chipset, released in 2023, in this model. This 6nm chip features only two ARM Cortex-A76 performance cores. Therefore, it may be difficult for the phone to live up to its “gamer phone” claim in terms of performance.
This older processor also hints at the new model’s price. Industry sources predict the phone will cost under $250. All the phones HTC unveiled at GITEX 2025 are expected to be released before the end of the year, but it’s not yet clear which markets they will be available in.
