Kia is preparing to unveil the new Telluride, which will intensify its competitiveness in the large SUV segment. Kia has already shared the updated design and interior details of the model, which will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. With its larger dimensions, stylish interior, and powerful exterior details, the new Telluride elevates the brand’s position in this segment.
The New Kia Telluride Arrives
The new Kia Telluride has a more adventure-oriented appearance than the previous model. The enlarged grille extends to the headlights, giving the vehicle a more upright stance. While the standard version comes with gloss black vertical stripes, the XRT model features a matte black mesh-patterned bumper for a more off-road-oriented look.

The orange hooks at the front, in particular, reinforce this identity. Angular fenders, muscular shoulder lines, and an extended hood are among the design elements that support the SUV’s powerful stance. The “floating roof” effect and vertical taillight cluster used at the rear design make the Telluride appear more modern and stylish. The vehicle’s silhouette is reminiscent of the Range Rover models.
Kia has increased the wheelbase by approximately 7.5 centimeters and the overall length by approximately 6 centimeters in the new model. This increase has significantly increased interior space. A completely new ambiance greets users inside. The single-piece digital display panel, which extends from behind the steering wheel to the center console, appears larger than the 12.3-inch screens found in the previous model.
No specific engine options have been announced yet. However, like its sister model, the Hyundai Palisade, the Telluride is expected to be available with a 2.5-liter turbo hybrid and a 3.5-liter V6 engine. No official price has been released. However, the new Telluride is likely to be sold for around $40,000 in the US market.
