Volkswagen’s CC model, which has been discontinued in the European market, continues to be updated in China. The FAW-Volkswagen joint venture has officially unveiled the refreshed CC family for the 2026 model year. The model is available in two body styles: a classic sedan and a sportier station wagon.
The refreshed Volkswagen CC has been announced
Prices for the car start at 224,900 yuan, equivalent to approximately $31,000. The top-of-the-line trim level carries a price tag of 249,900 yuan, approximately $34.5,000.

The exterior design remains largely unchanged. The front end features a wide, multi-slatted radiator grille, complemented by daytime running lights. The Shooting Brake version offers a more dynamic silhouette with black fender trims and roof rails.
The interior combines technology and comfort. The cockpit features a sloping steering wheel, an integrated multimedia screen, and slim horizontal air vents. The telematics system, now available even on base trim levels, allows drivers to remotely control their vehicles via a mobile app.

The interior, meanwhile, has undergone some simplifications. The previously used combination of natural and faux leather has been replaced with a fully faux upholstery. Furthermore, the sedan no longer features steering wheel paddles.
The vehicle’s dimensions remain unchanged. The sedan is 4,865 mm long, 1,870 mm wide, 1,459 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2,841 mm. The Shooting Brake, meanwhile, features a slightly longer body at 4,869 mm, but the wheelbase remains the same as the sedan. The engine lineup remains unchanged.
The 2.0-liter TSI turbo engine is available with two power outputs: 137 kW (186 hp) and 162 kW (220 hp). Both engines are paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. This refresh clearly demonstrates that the Volkswagen CC remains viable in the Chinese market, regardless of its global strategy.
