OnePlus is preparing to officially announce three new products targeting the Indian and European markets on December 17th. At this event, the company will also unveil the OnePlus Watch Lite smartwatch, specifically for the European market. Key features of the watch have been revealed ahead of the event.
OnePlus Watch Lite Coming Soon
The OnePlus Watch Lite stands out with its thin and lightweight design. The company emphasizes its longevity by claiming it offers up to ten days of battery life on a single charge. Because no current WearOS watch offers this level of battery life, the device is expected to run on a different platform, not WearOS.
The watch offers a sixty-second health overview that combines daily activity tracking, heart rate data, sleep tracking, SpO2 measurements, and “Mind & Body” insights on a single screen. The smartwatch will be compatible with both Android and iOS devices, allowing users to receive notifications from two different phones on a single watch.
It features NFC support for contactless features and dual-frequency GPS for improved location accuracy. The Watch Lite will be available in Black and Silver. Leaks indicate the watch will feature a 1.46-inch AMOLED display, measuring 8.9 mm thick and weighing 35 grams. The screen’s brightness peaks at 3,000 nits in Sport mode and 600 nits in normal use.
