Poco, a major brand in the Indian market, is finalizing the launch schedule for its new phone, the Poco X8 Pro. The company’s new X8 series is expected to launch soon in several global markets, including India. Prior to this, the Poco X8 Pro has appeared in the database of India’s official certification body, BIS. The listing suggests the launch is not far off.
Poco X8 Pro is coming
A new Poco phone with the model number 2511FPC34I has been registered on the BIS certification platform. This model number is believed to belong to the upcoming Poco X8 Pro. The global version of the device has already been seen in international certification bodies such as EEC and SGS.

It is rumored that the phone will be launched globally as a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5, which was originally launched exclusively in the Chinese market. The Redmi Turbo 5 carries a similar model number to 2511FPC34I.
However, the BIS listing doesn’t include any details about the X8 Pro’s specifications. The Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to launch in China at the end of this year or early January 2026. This model will reportedly be the first phone to feature the Dimensity 8500 chip, but it will be limited to the Chinese market. In the global market, the Poco X8 Pro will be a rebranded version.
According to leaked information, the Redmi Turbo 5 will launch with a 1.5K LTPS OLED display, an 8,000mAh or 9,000mAh battery offering 100W charging support. It will also feature a metal mid-frame and an IP68/69 rated case. It’s highly likely that the Poco X8 Pro will have the same feature set.
The Poco X8 Pro will be accompanied by the standard Poco X8 model, which is thought to be the global version of the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G. The Poco X8 is rumored to feature a 6.83-inch, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz OLED LTPS display, a Dimensity 7400 chip, and a triple rear camera setup with a 200-megapixel main camera.
It’s expected to have a 20-megapixel front camera and be powered by a 6,580mAh battery with 45W charging support. This certification development brings the global launch of the new Poco series very close.
