Redmi is expanding its budget-friendly smartphone family with a new model. The Redmi 15C 5G expands its affordable mid-range offerings, following the release of the 4G version earlier this month. The new model maintains its familiar design and large battery while offering faster connectivity. Here are the details.
Redmi 15C 5G Starts at €150
Retail listings in Poland, France, Spain, and Hungary confirm the availability of the new model. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage option starts at around €150, while the 256GB version is priced slightly higher. This price is only a small increase compared to the 4G version. The 4G version still retails for around €130 in some markets.

The most significant change in the new model is the processor. Redmi has replaced the old Helio G81 Ultra processor with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chip. This processor, built on a 6nm process, features two performance cores at 2.4GHz and six efficiency cores at 2.0GHz. While not a performance monster, it’s expected to run everyday apps and light games better while consuming less power.
Most of the hardware remains the same as the 4G model. There’s also a 6.9-inch 120Hz LCD display and a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, but a charging adapter isn’t included in the box. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor on the rear and an 8-megapixel selfie camera in the front notch.
Other features include IP64 splash protection, NFC in some regions, a headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. While the Redmi 15C 5G might not feel particularly new to those who’ve seen the 4G model, it stands out as a solid option in Redmi’s growing product line for those looking for affordable, 5G support, and long battery life.
