Qualcomm’s new flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, impresses with its performance. In the AnTuTu tests conducted before the launch, it was almost twice as powerful as Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. So which devices will it be released with? Here are the details…
Snapdragon 8 Elite doubles Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in performance
The Snapdragon 8 Elite showed itself in AnTuTu tests with a score of 3,025,991. Opposing it is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 and the difference between them is actually quite small: The Dimensity 9400 scored 3,007,853 points. Considering how heated this competition between the two chipsets has become, we can say that the Snapdragon 8 Elite has taken the lead.
But this is said to be just the beginning, as the real difference will become clearer when phones with this chipset hit the market. In the meantime, the Snapdragon 8 Elite has been tested with the Realme GT7 Pro, which is expected to be one of the first models to come with the 8 Elite.
Apart from the Realme GT7 Pro, other giants like the Xiaomi 15 and OnePlus 13 are also coming with this new chipset. So, we will have the opportunity to experience this powerful performance in more devices very soon. Also, the Realme GT7 Pro will be equipped with a special Samsung display and a periscope telephoto lens.
Rumor has it that this chipset is especially suited for gamers and photographers. It is rumored to offer better graphics in games and significantly better quality photos even in low light.
