The long-awaited Honor Magic V5, which was introduced at the AI Ecosystem event held in China today, stands out with its features and design. Honor Magic V5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor
First, let’s take a look at the screens that come to mind when we say foldable phone. On the screen side, Honor’s latest flagship hosts a 7.95-inch OLED panel and an external screen with a resolution of 2352 x 2172 pixels and a 6.43-inch OLED 2376 x 1060 pixel internal screen. Both panels offer a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate and up to 5000 nits of brightness.

The Magic V5, which is stated to be the thinnest foldable phone in the world, is 8.8mm thin when folded and 4.1mm thin when open. In other versions except white, this ratio is stated as 9.0 mm and 4.2 mm respectively. The weight of the white model is measured as 217 grams, while it is announced as 222 grams in other models.
On the processor side, the device powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite with Adreno 830 GPU is offered to the user with 12 GB and 16 GB RAM, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB storage options. Magic V5, which runs on Android 15-based Magicos 9.0.1 operating system, is also equipped with many artificial intelligence features.

Honor Magic V5 has 50 megapixel wide-angle, 50 megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and 64 megapixel periscope lenses as cameras. The device, which supports 4K video recording, has two cameras, a 20 megapixel front camera.
