The highly anticipated tri-foldable Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is finally available. A product of Samsung’s decade-long foldable device experience, this new model is captivating with its three-layered design and superior performance. Standing out with its slim design and AI-enabled features, the device promises users an unparalleled mobile experience.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Features and Design
The 3.9 mm-thin Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold expands to the size of a tablet when opened. Its advanced Armor FlexHinge hinge minimizes fold marks while also prioritizing durability. The titanium hinge housing and ceramic glass fiber back panel make the device both stylish and durable.

When fully opened, users are greeted by a massive 10-inch screen. This expansive area allows for three different apps to be run side by side, allowing you to watch videos, take notes, or browse the web simultaneously. The Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2600 nits of brightness, delivers vibrant and clear images in any environment.
On the performance front, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform. This powerful processor is accompanied by a 200MP main camera. Samsung has included the largest battery ever used in a foldable phone in this model. The three-cell 5,600mAh battery system provides uninterrupted power throughout the day. Furthermore, thanks to 45W super-fast charging support, users don’t waste any time.

Galaxy AI technology offers much more efficient use of this large screen. Gemini Live integration, in particular, allows users to ask instant questions about on-screen content. Furthermore, Samsung DeX support allows the device to be used as a standalone desktop computer. Users can create four different workspaces directly on the device, eliminating the need for an external monitor.
Samsung is aggressively positioning the Z TriFold as a photography flagship, headlined by a 200MP Wide-Angle Camera with OIS and an f/1.7 aperture. This brings the high-resolution capabilities of the S-series Ultra series to the foldable, following the Galaxy Z Fold7.

The rear camera also includes a 12MP Ultra-Wide shooter and a 10MP Telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital “Space Zoom.” For selfies and video calls, the device features two separate 10MP sensors: one on the cover display and one on the main internal display.
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is priced at 3,594,000 won (approximately $2,445) for the 512GB model and will be available first in Korea starting December 12, 2025. It will then be available in other markets such as China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE, and the US. The Samsung Korea site clearly shows that the Carbon Shield Case, 45W charging adapter, and data cable will come in the box.
