The next group of applications is from the FakeApp family and their purpose is to redirect users to investment scam websites. Some of these are:

• Eternal Maze (Yana Pospyelova) – 50,000 downloads
• Jungle Jewels (Vaibhav Wable) – 10,000 downloads
• Stellar Secrets (Pepperstocks) – 10,000 downloads
• Fire Fruits (Sandr Sevill) – 10,000 downloads
• Cowboy’s Frontier (Precipice Game Studios) – 10,000 downloads
• Enchanted Elixir (Acomadyi) – 10,000 download

We have good news for you here. The applications in question were noticed by Google Play Store and removed from the market. However, the apps will continue to run silently in the background if you have them pre-installed on your phone. That’s why we recommend you do a good scan.
