Apple introduced the iPhone 15 series at an event last week. Following the Apple launch closely, Chinese manufacturers started to develop new phones similar to the iPhone 15. Blackview made a reference to Apple by adding the A96 model to the A series. The device, which has a similar design to the iPhone 15, comes with a 120Hz display and a price tag of only 200 dollars.
Blackview A96 launched with 120Hz display and 48MP main camera
The Blackview A96 features a 6.5-inch 2.4K display with thin bezels. It supports an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz and is TUV Low Blue Light certified.
The A96 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. With up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the smartphone features a triple camera setup on the back. It should be noted that this setup resembles the iPhone 15 in terms of design.
The rear cameras consist of a 48 Megapixel main, 8 Megapixel ultra-wide and 8 Megapixel macro lens. On the front, a 16 Megapixel selfie camera embedded in the screen welcomes users.
Featuring a Harman/Kardon speaker, the smartphone offers users an enhanced experience while playing games, listening to music or watching movies thanks to its stereo speaker. Powered by a 4380 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, A98 comes out of the box with Android 13-based DokeOS 3.1.
Available in two color options, Obsidian Black and Provence Purple, Blackview A96 is priced at $169.
