However, it was revealed that players looking to purchase the new console would need to pay extra for the vertical stand, as it will not be included in the Slim version’s box.

The box of Sony’s recently unveiled PlayStation 5 Slim will not include a vertical stand. Users will have to purchase this plastic part separately, and its price is stated to be $30. Considering that some console owners prefer the vertical stand, this detail has sparked reactions.

The volume of Sony’s new console has been reduced by 30% compared to the standard PlayStation 5. This means it is more compact and will not take up much space in your home. Additionally, the console has a more stylish, lightweight, and slim appearance, with its weight reduced by 18% and 24% for the Blu-ray disc drive and the standard edition, respectively.
