Newly leaked iPhone 17 CAD images show that Apple may use three different camera module designs in its upcoming model. The images reveal that there will be different models with single, dual and triple lens camera configurations.
iPhone 17 Pro’s camera is completely changing!
According to the leaked CAD renders, the triple camera systems of the Pro models in the iPhone 17 series will be positioned in a thick strip on the back of the phone. This design coincides with the claims put forward by Jon Prosser, previously known for his leaks.

The standard iPhone 17 model will retain the same camera array as the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. The dual-lens module will be in a vertical form as in previous generations. Unlike the diagonal camera layout used from iPhone 13 to 15, this layout changed with the iPhone 16 series.
The iPhone 17 Air, which is seen as the most striking model of the series, will have a different design than other models. It is stated that this model will only feature a single rear camera to ensure that it has a thinner and lighter chassis. According to newly leaked CAD images and previously revealed prototype case designs, this single-lens camera module will be positioned in a thin horizontal bar.
It is claimed that there will be a rectangular panel made of aluminium under the camera array in the Pro models, while the glass back surface will be preserved in other models. The design changes of the Pro models may not be limited to the camera module.
According to previous leaks, it is predicted that Apple may include a titanium frame in these models and will come with the next generation A19 Pro chipset. It is stated that the standard iPhone 17 models will come with the A18 Bionic chip.
