Microsoft has announced the games that will be added to the Xbox Game Pass service in the second half of August. The company will bring three titles to the library for the remainder of this month, with support for indie and Xbox Game Studios titles.
Xbox Game Pass August 2024 games announced
August is headlined by the open-world action RPG Atlas Fallen. The game will be available in the library from August 22nd. Players can explore the vast desert world and battle creatures both solo and in co-op.
Another featured game is Core Keeper, a 2D survival-sandbox game where players take on the role of explorers. Launching on August 27, Core Keeper tasks players with crafting, building and uncovering ancient secrets alone or with friends.
The last game of the month is Star Trucker, which will be released on September 3. Players will transport cargo between the stars and trade in prisoner rescue. According to the developer’s description, the game brings a sci-fi twist to the cargo hauling genre.

Game Pass subscribers will also have access to the open beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on August 28. Beta progression will also be available at launch.
