Pre-orders have officially begun for the AirCar Light Sport eVTOL model, developed by Turkish technology and aviation company AirCar Technology and Aviation Inc., Turkey’s first flying car. Having successfully completed its first manned flight in May 2025, the AirCar is reportedly capable of cruising at 130 kilometers per hour.

The AirCar Light Sport, the company’s first eVTOL model, is now available for pre-order with a price tag of $99,000 excluding taxes. This price equates to approximately 4.115 million Turkish Lira (excluding taxes) at the current exchange rate.
A $250 down payment is required from those wishing to pre-order the vehicle. It is reported that the vehicle’s 2026 inventory has been completely sold out, and pre-orders are currently open for 100 units, scheduled for delivery in 2027.
The AirCar Light Sport model is powered by a 100% electric motor. Technical specifications indicate a range of 80 kilometers, a maximum speed of 135 km/h, and an altitude of 10,000 feet (approximately 3,048 meters).
The vehicle seats two passengers and offers a total carrying capacity of 250 kilograms. Powered by a 400V Semi-Solid Lithium-ion battery, the AirCar charges from 10% to 90% in 15 minutes with fast charging. Flight duration varies between 30 and 45 minutes.
Cockpit and safety features include a 20-inch LED display showing driving information. Comfortable sporty leather seats and a small luggage area are available. Safety features include a ballistic parachute that automatically deploys in the event of a malfunction.
Furthermore, the vehicle, powered by fault-tolerant software with advanced collision avoidance architecture, features a collision prevention system that detects obstacles and prevents collisions. A 400V DC charger is included with the vehicle, and a warranty of 2 years or 500 flight hours is offered. AirCar was launched in five different color options: white, black, gray, red and blue.
