Twitch, the popular Amazon-owned live streaming platform, has added the long-awaited live rewind feature to broadcasts. This new feature allows users to instantly rewind while watching live broadcasts.
Rewind feature coming to live broadcasts
This new feature eliminates the need to go to the videos section of a broadcaster’s profile to watch a missed moment. Twitch has not yet rolled out the feature to all users.

The rewind feature is initially available only to subscribed broadcasters’ streams. Twitch Turbo subscribers also have access to the feature. The feature was initially activated on the platform’s web version.
Twitch has been making headlines recently for its innovations. The company previously introduced a feature that allows clips from broadcasts to be exported directly to Instagram.
The statement read, “In addition to TikTok and YouTube Shorts, you can now export your clips directly to Instagram. Try editing a recent clip and sharing it on Instagram to get more people to see your favorite moments. The feature is rolling out to all channels this week.”
The platform previously attracted attention with its “video stories” infrastructure. It was announced that broadcasters can create 60-second videos on the Twitch mobile app or upload videos from their galleries to share with their followers.
Twitch also launched a testing system aimed at reducing the use of offensive messages in the chat window. This new system, currently under test, analyzes messages and, if it detects offensive or disrespectful content, prompts the user with a warning: “Are you sure you want to send this?”
