Elon Musk realized that the company wasn’t as profitable as he thought after acquiring Twitter. To cut costs, he first laid off some programmers. Then, he introduced a new subscription system for global use. Today, the subscription service known as Twitter Blue, which provides users with the Blue Checkmark, has changed its name to X Premium.
Twitter Blue is now X Premium!
The Twitter Blue subscription service, introduced earlier, will now be referred to by a different name. Elon Musk, who changed the names of all other platforms under the Twitter company umbrella to start with X, has also renamed Twitter Blue to X Premium. It’s worth noting that this change hasn’t been applied to all users yet.

- Add bold and italic text to your posts.
- Publish longer and 1080p videos.
- Access to existing Blue (Premium) features, including Edit Tweet (X), Bookmark Folders, and early access to new features.
The X sign placed at the top of the Twitter headquarters building was removed after complaints about its brightness.
