Ubisoft has decided to revive the action-adventure game that was first released in 2003. It will be called Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition and will bring back iconic moments. So what kind of game is Beyond Good & Evil?
Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition is coming
Beyond Good & Evil’s new production is being developed to celebrate the sci-fi genre’s 20th anniversary. Accordingly, it will be available digitally on June 25th. For those who don’t know, Beyond Good & Evil follows Jade, a reporter who investigates an alien invasion on her planet and joins a resistance group.
The game features many gameplay elements, including third-person combat, stealth sequences and hovercraft races. The 20th Anniversary Edition will include a number of enhancements to bring it up to date. The game will support 4K resolution and run at 60 frames per second.
It will also offer auto-save and cross-platform data synchronization. Both new and veteran players will be able to play Jade’s story on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The game will be available on Steam, Epic and the Ubisoft Store.
Developer Limited Run Games will also release physical editions for collectors. Although there is no official announcement for Beyond Good & Evil 2, it seems possible that the series will continue depending on the sales of the game.
