Sony’s popular horror game Until Dawn is finally making its way to the PC platform, nearly a decade after its debut on PlayStation 4. The game, which is set to be released next month, will also be available in a remastered version for PlayStation 5 .
Until Dawn will be with us on October 4th!
Until Dawn, which has a branching story with dozens of different endings, tells the story of a group of young people who encounter terrifying events in a deserted area. The game, which transforms the classic horror movie scenario into an interactive experience, also aims to impress from a technical perspective with its PC version.
According to Sony, the PC version will support the latest graphics features. Nvidia DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3 upscaling technologies will increase the performance of the game without compromising visual quality. For ultrawide monitor users, 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios are supported, while a free aspect ratio option is also offered.
The game also features visual improvements, including ray-traced shadows, reflections, and ambient textures. PC users can also take advantage of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers using the DualSense controller, making effects like gunshots and heartbeats feel more realistic.
The PC version, which has no FPS limit, will offer players a smoother experience. These features show that the PC version of Until Dawn is not just a port, but a version optimized specifically for the platform.
