When Deadlock was first developed, the project emerged as a science fiction game called “Neon Prime”. However, the concept changed over time and the game evolved into Deadlock, which combines shooter mechanics with elements of the MOBA genre.

The production, which entered closed alpha testing as of 2024; attracted attention with its similarity to games such as DotA 2, Team Fortress, Smite and Marvel Rivals with its first gameplay footage. The early access version of Deadlock can only be played openly to test groups within Valve.

However, despite this, there was great interest among Steam users. Valve, on the other hand, has not made any official statement regarding the new leaks about the game. The game, which has not been promoted during its development process, is a candidate to be one of the most notable productions of this summer.

Although the leaked content has not been confirmed, the expansion of the testing process has indicated that the game is close to being released into early access. However, it is not yet known when the game will be released as a full version.
