New gameplay footage from the cancelled Transformers Reactivate game, developed in collaboration with Hasbro and Splash Damage, has been leaked. The leaked video would have been a big hit among fans of the game. Here are the details and gameplay video…
We see Bumblebee (Bumbilibili) in the Transformers video
The leaked footage includes scenes in which Bumblebee is seen both fighting and showing off his driving skills on an open-world map. The game offered special abilities and ultimate attacks for each character. Bumblebee’s signature ability, Thunder Crash, attacked the enemy quickly, allowing him to manoeuvre the area effectively and stunning enemies around him.
Bumblebee’s most special ability, Overcharge, increased his speed, allowing him to release more static orbs and deal more damage to stunned enemies. His passive ability, Capacitor, used these static orbs to reduce Thunder Crash’s cooldown.
Transformers Reactivate was designed as a 1-4 player online co-operative game in development for PC and consoles. The game’s story centred on the Autobot and Decepticon factions coming together against a larger enemy. Early footage of the game leaked in 2022 showed popular characters such as Starscream, Slipstream, Hotrod, Soundwave and Sunstreaker as playable.
Although Splash Damage CEO Richard Jolly stated that it was a great honour for him to work with a beloved brand like Transformers, it was announced that the development process of the game was terminated with an announcement made on January 8, 2024.
