While Google is still working on the release of Android 15, users have begun to grow impatient. As manufacturers like Samsung and Google are still testing beta versions, Vivo announced today that it is rolling out the Android 15 update to select flagship devices. Here are the first Android phones to receive the Android 15 update…
Which Vivo Models Are Getting the Android 15 Update?
Bringing many innovations, Android 15 has started to roll out to Vivo models even before the Pixel 9. While the full version is expected to be announced in mid-October, Vivo’s early move has come as a surprise. Currently, the first access to Android 15 is available only for flagship models like the Vivo X100 series, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, and iQOO 12.
Typically, Samsung is the first to make a move after Google, but Vivo has managed to outpace even Google with this action. No date has been announced yet for Samsung. The company has begun offering the new Android update alongside Funtouch OS 15.
Funtouch OS 15 brings several AI features. The AI Eraser in the gallery app is similar to a feature found in Google Photos. Additionally, the new update includes the Live Translate feature, which displays words on the phone screen when people around you are speaking.
Android 15 also offers a variety of features, with one of the most notable being the Private Space. This allows users to securely organize personal apps and restrict screen sharing.
