Vivo has included the Dimensity 8200 processor produced by MediaTek in its new model. Produced with 4nm technology, the processor has 1 ARM Cortex-A78 (3.1GHz), 3 ARM Cortex-A78 (3.0GHz) and 4 ARM Cortex-A55 (2.0GHz) cores. The graphics interface of the processor is ARM Mali-G610 MC6. It is worth noting that the Dimensity 8200 model has MediaTek APU 580, which is very successful in artificial intelligence applications.

Coming with a 6.78-inch screen, the device has a resolution of 1260×2800 pixels. Vivo used AMOLED panel with 120hz screen refresh rate and 10-bit support in V29 Pro2. The device can reach a brightness level of 1,300 nits and has HDR10 Plus certification.

With a thickness of 7.46 mm, the screen glass of the device has a 55-degree curvature. However, it was announced that glass was also used on the back of the device. Vivo announced that they will offer two different RAM options, 8 GB and 12 GB, in the V29 Pro model. Only 256 GB storage option will be offered on the device. The new model does not have Micro SD card support.

The model with triple camera array has a 50 Megapixel 1/1.56 IMX766 main camera with OIS support, an 8 Megapixel lens and a 2 Megapixel depth sensor in the ultra-wide angle camera. The selfie camera has a 12 Megapixel lens.

Unlike the standard model, the Pro model will be offered to users with a 4,600 mAh battery with 80W fast charging technology. It should be noted that the fast charging technology was 66W in the predecessor of the device. The 8 GB / 256 GB version of the Vivo V29 Pro model will be sold with a price tag of 480 dollars and the 12 GB / 256 GB version will be sold with a price tag of 515 dollars.
