vivo, aiming to expand its market share in the Android phone industry and continuously introducing new devices, announced the V30e model earlier this year. Now, the company is working on expanding the V40 series. Leaks have revealed the specifications of the vivo V40e on the Geekbench database. Here are the details…
vivo V40e to Feature MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Processor
Although the exact processor name was not clear in the Geekbench tests, the results suggest that the vivo V40e will come with MediaTek’s eight-core processor, featuring 4 cores at 2.0GHz and 4 cores at 2.50GHz. The device will also be equipped with the k6878v1_64 motherboard and Mali G615 MC2 GPU, confirming the use of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300.
The V30e used the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, but it appears that this time the company will opt for MediaTek. The Dimensity 7300 is known as a mid-range processor used in devices like the Oppo Reno 12, Nothing CMF Phone 1, and Motorola Razr 2024.
Additional details indicate that the device will run on Android 14 and will come with at least 8GB of RAM. In single-core and multi-core tests, the phone scored 1028 and 2938 points, respectively, and was also listed in the IMEI database with the model number V2418.
With these specifications, the vivo V40e is expected to be superior to the V30e and could be a strong competitor in the mid-range market. Considering the V30e is priced around $330, the V40e may be introduced at around $360. What do you think about this? Share your thoughts in the comments.
