Vivo X100 and X100 Pro launched in China starting at $550

Today, Vivo has finally launched its long-awaited smartphones the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro at a special event in China. Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC

One of the most significant specifications of the newest smartphones is the chipset. Vivo‘s new X100 series smartphones come with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. Additionally, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are the first devices to feature LPDDR5T RAM technology, and they have up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage options.

While both the X100 and X100 Pro have mostly similar specifications, they have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with curved edges and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The devices feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

In terms of cameras, the phones have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel OIS-enabled main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and a 64-megapixel (50-mepapixel on Pro) telephoto lens with 3x optical and 100x digital zoom. On the front, the smartphones have a 32-megapixel selfie camera with Vivo’s V3 imaging chip.

The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are available in Star Trail Blue, Sunset Orange, White Moonlight, and Cheyne Black color options. The X100 starts at around CNY 3,999 ($550) for the 12GB + 256GB version and CNY 4,299 ($589) for the 16GB + 256GB option. 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB versions cost CNY 4,599 ($630) and CNY 4,999 ($685), respectively. The top-notch 16GB + 1TB version with LPDDR5T RAM technology costs CNY 5,099 (~$699).

For the Vivo X100 Pro, the prices for similar configurations are CNY 4,999 ($700), CNY 5,299 ($726), CNY 5,499 ($800), and CNY 5,999 ($822) respectively.
