vivo continues to expand its product lineup. The Chinese brand has introduced the Y29t 5G model, which draws attention with its technical specifications and pricing. So, what does the company’s new smartphone have to offer?

The Y29t 5G features a 6.74-inch LCD display offering a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and brightness up to 570 nits. It comes with an IP64 rating, making it resistant to dust and water splashes. Additionally, the device is MIL-STD-810H certified, indicating military-grade durability against drops and impacts.
Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor. The device comes with either 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers up to 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It packs a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging.
On the camera side, the phone is equipped with a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50 MP main sensor and a 0.08 MP auxiliary lens. On the front, there is a 5 MP selfie camera. The Y29t 5G runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.
