Exciting new details have emerged about vivo’s next standard flagship model, the X300. According to leaked information, the device will make a huge leap in camera technology, featuring a 200-megapixel main sensor. This new sensor is reportedly the ISOCELL HBP, developed by Samsung.

The new ISOCELL HBP sensor will have a substantial physical size of 1/1.4 inches. This marks a significant improvement in both resolution and sensor area compared to the Sony IMX921 sensor used in its predecessor, the X200. This increase in sensor size will allow the phone to capture more light, resulting in much clearer and more detailed photos, especially in low-light conditions.

In addition to the main sensor, the camera setup will include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. This camera is expected to use either the Sony IMX882 or LYT600 sensor, both of which were used in the previous model, with an estimated sensor size of 1/1.95 inches. vivo’s collaboration with Zeiss will continue in this new model, underscoring its commitment to mobile photography.
While no official statement has been made yet, leaks suggest that the vivo X300 could be unveiled in September or October.
