According to the latest news from Korea, Samsung has completed the development and mass production of Bot Fit. The company aims to launch its wearable robot between August-September 2024.
For those who don’t know, Bot Fit is worn around the hip and knee to help walk, exercise and improve gait. It aims to reduce the metabolic cost of walking by 24 percent. Accordingly, it includes motors and sensors to help increase the walking speed of people with mobility impairments by 14 percent.
The wearable robot also monitors users’ walking patterns and provides feedback to help them optimize them over time. It also helps with different exercise routines to help you walk more efficiently.
Samsung is expected to produce 100 thousand Bot Fit units in the first phase. Although pricing has not yet been announced, it should be noted that it will be unrivaled in the market.
