WhatsApp has launched a new feature to improve the chatting experience. Accordingly, you will be able to shoot videos and send video messages while messaging on WhatsApp. The new feature allows users to add 60-second video messages to conversations.
How to send a WhatsApp video message?
The popular messaging app describes the new way of chatting as “a fun way to share moments with all the emotion that comes from video.” Users will be able to switch to video message mode during the chat and record hands-free.
During the 60-second message, it will be possible to switch between the front and rear cameras. You will also be able to cancel recording or control the length of the video before sending the message.
According to WhatsApp, video messages will automatically play in silent mode, while tapping on the video will unmute it. Video messages will remain accessible in the chat history until deleted by the user. They will also be end-to-end encrypted for privacy, similar to regular WhatsApp messages.
Some time ago, Meta also added other features to WhatsApp. Notable among these was the ability to mute unknown WhatsApp calls. The main purpose of the feature will be to automatically filter calls from scams, spam and unknown numbers.
WhatsApp is expanding its video messaging capabilities every day. The application, which opened group chats during the pandemic period, allows users to share their emotions in real time.
