WhatsApp is rolling out a special sticker creator for users with iOS 17 or later. Previously, you could drag images from your gallery into the application and create stickers. Thanks to this new feature, you can now draw on these photos and even add text.

To use this new feature of WhatsApp, exclusive to iOS 17 and later versions, follow the steps below.

• First, open the application’s sticker tray to create a sticker from the image you choose.
• Then select Create sticker .
• Select an image from your gallery. From here you can continue customizing your sticker by selecting a cutout, adding text, and drawing on it.
• You can also edit pre-made stickers by opening the sticker tray, long-pressing on the sticker you want to change, or selecting the edit sticker option .

WhatsApp for web has a sticker tool. However, WhatsApp users find it more practical to make stickers via the mobile application. This new feature offers many conveniences. However, there is a downside. Only users with iOS 17 and above will be able to benefit from this feature.

Users on Android will only be able to view custom stickers for now. You will also be able to react to these stickers. Unfortunately, Android users have to resort to other methods to create such stickers.
