Additionally, the participant limit for group calls has been increased to 31, making the app a more robust alternative for both social gatherings and small-scale business meetings. The “+” button added to the corner of the screen allows for convenient initiation of both individual and group calls.

Perhaps the most striking and groundbreaking innovation of the update is the integrated internal dialer into the “Calls” tab. This feature will allow users to call a phone number not currently listed in their contact list directly from WhatsApp, just like the traditional call screen on their phone.

This feature makes WhatsApp a serious competitor to traditional carrier calls. When you dial the number you want to call, the system automatically verifies it and instantly tells you whether the other person is a WhatsApp user. When Will the Update Be Available?
