WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to quickly learn about sent messages. According to reports, the “Ask Meta AI” shortcut has been added to the message options in the iOS beta version 25.26.10.71. This feature allows users to forward a message directly to Meta AI and get instant information about its content.

WhatsApp Offers Meta AI Integration

This new feature works by tapping and holding on a message and then tapping “Ask Meta AI.” The quoted message is then sent to Meta AI in a new window that opens. Users can enter their questions in this window.

For example, they can directly forward a message about an unfamiliar topic to the AI ​​and request information. This shortcut allows users to interact directly and quickly with the AI, rather than forwarding the message elsewhere.

Messages are not automatically shared with Meta AI before the user sends them. Users must type and send their query in the chat window that opens. This works similarly to quoting and serves as a confirmation step for sharing the message with AI.

This feature will be available in countries where Meta AI is already available. However, Meta AI is not currently active in Turkey. Therefore, even if it becomes generally available, WhatsApp users in Turkey will not be able to take advantage of this feature. It is not yet clear when Meta AI will arrive in Turkey.
