WhatsApp has released version 2.25.13.23 for Android users through the Google Play Beta Program. The new update reveals that the platform is working on a feature that will allow users to react to messages and media files with stickers. Although the feature is not available yet, it is expected to roll out to the public in an upcoming update.
WhatsApp is Testing Sticker Reactions for Messages
WhatsApp is developing new tools that enable users to express themselves more creatively when the existing emoji options are not enough. As mentioned above, the 2.25.13.23 beta version shows that a new feature is currently being tested.

Thanks to this feature, users will be able to react to messages and media using any sticker from the sticker keyboard. Stickers downloaded from the WhatsApp Sticker Store, imported from third-party apps, and previously saved stickers will all be supported.
Additionally, it is worth noting that animated stickers created using the Lottie Framework may also be supported. In short, our reactions to messages and media are about to become much more dynamic and expressive.
This feature will be particularly useful in situations where expressing a certain emotion with a standard emoji is not enough. Users will be able to deliver much more unique and entertaining reactions with custom-designed stickers. Development of the feature is still ongoing, and if all goes well, it will be available to everyone very soon.
