Apple released the first beta of iOS 18.3 two weeks ago. However, it won’t be long before the update is widely available for users who haven’t tested the beta. Estimates of when the iOS 18.3 update will be released suggest that Apple will follow a similar schedule to the iOS 17.3 beta process.
When will iOS 18.3 be available?
The dates of the beta tests of iOS 17.3 were as follows: Beta 1, December 13, 2023; Beta 2, January 3, 2024; Beta 3, January 9, 2024; Release Candidate (RC), January 17, 2024; and general release, January 22, 2024. This means that the second beta of iOS will be released later this week or early next week, followed by just one more beta and finally the RC.
iOS 18.3 will be a smaller release for iPhone users, unlike major updates like iOS 18.1 and 18.2. This update will focus on bug fixes and performance improvements, not new Apple Intelligence features.
