Evan Blass unveiled Nubia’s Nubia Air ahead of its official launch. The phone, which stands out with its thinness of just 6.7 mm and its name evoking the iPhone 17 Air, has been leaked, along with both official images and full specifications.
The Nubia Air, which was previously hinted at with a shared schematic, is now available with high-resolution renders and a real-life photo. The leaks clearly reveal the phone’s design philosophy and target audience.
What will the Nubia Air be like?
The leaked images reveal that the champagne gold Nubia Air boasts a minimalist and modern aesthetic.

Front: The device features a modern display surrounded by very thin bezels, featuring a punch-hole front camera in the center.
Back: The rear features a horizontal camera module reminiscent of Google Pixel phones, housing three lenses, an LED flash, and a red sensor.
Body: The phone features volume buttons and a mysterious red power button on the right side, while the left side is left completely empty, creating a simple look. The bottom houses the USB Type-C port, speaker, and SIM tray.
However, the most striking aspect of the design is its physical dimensions. The device will be just 6.7 mm thick and weigh 172 grams. These figures will make the phone, living up to its “Air” name, one of the thinnest and lightest models on the market.
The Nubia Air combines a stylish design with mid-range hardware. According to the leaked document, the phone’s specifications are as follows:
- Display: 6.78-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1224 x 2720 pixels.
- Processor: Unisoc T8300 octa-core chipset.
- Memory and Storage: 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
- Operating System: Android 15.0.
- Battery: Despite such a thin body, it boasts a powerful 5000 mAh battery.
On the photography front, the Nubia Air will feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor, 2-megapixel sensors, and 0.08-megapixel secondary sensors. The front will also feature a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
The device will feature all the latest connectivity options, including dual nano-SIM, Wi-Fi (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NFC.
