Last year, 71% of iPhone users reported using devices that were two years old or older. This rate was 63% in 2020. Mac users are in a similar situation, with 68% stating that they hadn’t replaced their Macs in two years.

The report shows that Mac owners tend to use their devices for longer periods compared to iPhone or iPad users. Statistics indicate that 56% of Mac users have kept their devices for three years or more, which is a 16% increase compared to 2020. Additionally, the number of users wanting to upgrade their Mac devices is steadily decreasing.
